Stop Killing Games:

The consumer movement to stop game publishers from intentionally destroying older games with kill switches.

The goal is to reach 1 million signatures in the EU so that the european parliament will respond to the initiative that then leads to regulation that requires end-of-life plans for games to stay playable.

For once, and likely only once ever, unironically:

Gamers! Rise Up!

lol

Zero point whatsoever signing the UK one, the British govt just ignores petitions and even.if a parlimentary discussion is triggered hell be 7 people and a cat in the chamber vaguely discussing it for about 20 seconds.

Feel free to disagree as I still think it's important to try our best even for the UK petition as UK gamers will be shown how their government acts when it comes to the ownership of their games.

If the UK's government acts like a clown, I'm not sure UK's gamers/Helldivers will take it so easily.

It will be a straw added to the back of the camel.

Everyone here knows our govt is a bit shit mate, they already responded at 10k with the usual "piss off" reply.

'The government is stupid and broken so what we should do about that is nothing'

Better to have tried and failed that not tried at all, its not like signing a webform is a massive waste of time and energy.
