What does the name "/kbin" actually mean? I've looked around the About page and the project site, but couldn't find any explanation. (kbin.social)

It's a play on /sbin from linux and the Polish karabin rifle (hence the use of 'magazines' for our subs/communities).

So ... essentially, it means nothing :-D
