Late response, but nope, that's mentioned explicitly on the "What to Test" page in TestFlight.

This link works but that page’s “View in TestFlight” button does not .

When I clicked the link, it opened in TestFlight for me.

I’m not positive but the TestFlight app may not be installed by default. You may need to download it from the AppStore first. Just a guess.
