Hey! In this video, I go over 6 personal tips that I would share to anyone who is struggling to remember chord progressions when soloing over jazz tunes, or anything really. For the longest time, remembering changes was my kryptonite. Nowadays, it's among the least of my worries, thanks to these things I discovered throughout the years. Just passing it along and hopefully it helps you too! All of these tips are in support of a method I have devised and laid out in my new Jazz Standards Course for Jazz Lesson Videos, which you can get full access to here: (use code "NATHAN25" for $25 off!): https://www.jazzlessonvideos.com/jazz...

Table of Contents: 0:00 - Introduction 2:04 - Tip 1: Memorize the Cycle of 4ths 9:36 - Tip 2: Master All Chord Qualities in All 12 Keys 13:48 - Tip 3: Know Basic Chord Voicings on Piano 20:47 - Tip 4: Understand Roman Numerals 26:20 - Tip 5: Be Able To Sing All Bass Notes 28:32 - Tip 6: Go The Long Way
