Jump to 7:10 this is terrifying.

[–] Boddhisatva@lemmy.world 12 points 1 month ago

Damn. That is terrifying. Somebody should be slapping these on all of them.

I genuinely cannot understand how this 4th reich mobile is legally allowed to not just have this feature available to the public, but also sell it for a considerable amount of money. Even on US roads, it is not even remotely close to ready

What did you think why the boss of that company crawled up some president's rear end and even "worked" for him for a few weeks?

[–] dinckelman@lemmy.world 2 points 1 month ago (1 children)

That's the obvious answer, but it was available long before the orange twat too

The "autopilot"

I tried their self driving during their last free trial (6 months ago?), and it felt like the first time I took my kids driving when they had taken a few driving lessons but had very limited experience. I wouldn’t want to be near one of these cars.

The sad thing is that you might be marginally safer inside the thing. Maybe... a little anyway. At least inside it, you don't have to worry about it running you or your kid over. These things should not be on the road in any capacity.

Yeah it doesn’t look polished at all. And the incoming traffic cross is scary

The comments jumping in to suck it's dick is pretty concerning. "Not a safety issue but definitely awkward."

Yeah, ok 🙄

black cabs and yellow cabs are union operated.

How do you heil a Tesla cab?....you don't. Unless you want to end up rotting in a concentration camp in El Salvador. Fuck face is exactly the type who would rape you in the morning and then walk outside the room into the balcony and shoot an innocent bystander for no reason. See "Schindler's list". So you don't.
