Currently, I am running truenas and have two 8tb drives in a mirror, and important files backed up on my desktop.

It's about full, so we are upgrading.

I bought four 18tb drives. My plan is to have two drives in a mirror, another drive in the nas as local backup, and the fourth drive as an off site back up that is periodically brought in to back all of that up.

Perhaps not the best or most efficient use of storage, but it seems like it would work well for my needs. Any reason this might be a bad idea?
