Weird, I seem to remember China wanted to stay neutral and "respect every country's independence and boundaries" or some such. Must've dreamed that. Or, everyone's just pulling a Trump these days and doesn't care about anything that was said more than too weaks ago.

On a side note, what's the point of linking super short paywalled articles like this? Surely there would have been a better source.
