It feels like the only sustainable way to make this work is for Lime to foot the bill for all the council time they take up. If they cannot make that work financially then their business model is unsustainable. I can't understand why our government and councils are so slow on this.

They absolutely should have to rent parking space from the public and insist their users use them as well, in my opinion. I'm sick of having to move all the lime bikes out of the bike racks which they don't even need. Bananas!

Fine the scooter company for each one found.

They have GPS, they should be retrieving them when they are dumped like that.

A bike hire scheme was cancelled in a UK city after mindless vandalism and theft. When we visited we found the scheme really useful, allowing us to visit by train and then move around the whole city by bike.
