I am not sure if this can even be called a pizza crime because it's available in almost any pizzeria in Italy, may even be listed under the "classic pizza" section. I don't remember seeing this one at home and i have always been kinda keen to order it but never dared to.

So now I saw it in a focacceria and figured this was my chance - just a quick transaction, then I can eat it alone, somewhere where nobody sees me ๐Ÿ˜

Well, it was a bit underwhelming tbh. I might have to try it again with freshly fried fries, in a pizzeria, and eat it before the eyes of everybody else.

What else is on there with the fries? Some kind of meat, or only cheese and sauce? It's hard to tell from the photo.

I know that pizza Paperino is a thing in Italy, a pretty common novelty pizza that parents will order for their children. It's named after Donald Duck (Paolino Paperino). It's topped with fries and hot dogs, sometimes served with mayo.

I think Italian Americans are more sensitive about "pizza crimes" than actual Italians, lol.

It was just cheese and sauce, that is also what I saw in the restaurants there. Pizza wurstel seems to be it's own Italian classic ๐Ÿ˜
