I am trying it now for the first time on Android. But everytime I want to go back with the back button of the navbar, the app quits. Is that intended behavior?

Do you have it installed as a PWA? the back button works fine for me, installed, chrome on android 13
No it isn't. Works as intended for me on both Firefox and Brave.
Since an update this morning it is working fine.
Omg I just checked out wefwef. I hope they release a downloadable app soon. The UI is fantastic.
It looks really nice, kind of funny seeing the iOS-UI on Android. But I loved Apollo before switching to Android.
WefWef rocks. It has a nice name, too.

It immediately felt so right that I committed half an hour to really figuring out what this was and how it all worked. Okay to be fair I only kind of know how it all works
Yup, that's Apollo in a web browser.
I just found yesterday and installed it as a web app. The two iPhone clients I tried before were not quite ready for prime-time IMO but wefwef is great.
I'm using it right now and it's really cool!

It does feel very similar to Apollo! I like it, although it’s slightly less performant than a native app. Also, I can’t sort by Top Day/12h/6h/1h on it? Although I can’t on Memmy either, only Mlem seems to support it of the ones I’ve tried so far.

I think my favorite app is Thunder. Serious RedReader vibes
Trying it now. Thunder is really good but it feels like it’s designed for Android not iOS. Very “material you” feeling.

As an Android user, wefwef is such a fantastically designed app. I was still using an old iPhone and iPad Pro to browse Reddit as a longtime Apollo Ultra user so the UI is just perfect for my tastes.
Oh, this is really nice. It'll be really cool once PWAs are usable on macOS and it'll become my go to way to access Lemmy.
I read about it yesterday and decided to give it a whirl. Still using it today. I'll try it on my phone in a while.
Edit: Works a treat in Firefox on iOS. It's a keeper.
I just mentioned wefwef to my better half. She just sniggered at me and said "has the world run out of names?"
It really is great but that name is so weird. Anyone know what it's based on?
