Are there any simple (not a PC) and small NAS options on the market that accept a single M.2 2280 or 2.5" drive, and offer ethernet connectivity? (zerobytes.monster)

I'm interested in something:

Small, like as small as a portable hard drive.
Low power use
Just provides basic SMB sharing on the network
Not a Mini PC, needs to be much more stable and foolproof. Not even a Raspberry Pi
Room for at least one M.2 2280 or 2.5" drive. Preferably M.2
Ethernet connectivity

I've been searching online, and I can't find anything like this. Everything I'm finding is too complex. Most of the options I'm seeing are basically just Mini PCs, or SBCs.

I'd like this to be extremely simple. Like power it on, and it just works.

I'd be okay with a product that already has the storage built in (like a portable harddrive that offers this ability, as long as it doesn't use SASS or any kind of online services.
