In case you aren't aware there is an official AroAce 'Sunset' flag, we were wondering why it's not used for this community.

This is the flag: The Aro Ace Sunset Flag created by aroaesflags on tumbr. It has 5 stripes. The top is Orange, followed by Yellow, then White, then Light Blue and finally Dark Blue.

It's the one the sub on Reddit used when I joined, also I personally prefer the Purple and green aro + ace combo flag. Also I don't feel like this flag entirely accurately represents AroAce since it looks like a combo of the Lesbian and MLM flags and I don't know about you but I don't think a combo of lesbian + MLM is an accurate depiction of us.

Lesbian Flag top + MLM flag bottom

(With hue shift in case the similarity isn't obvious enough)

No, we completely disagree. They look nothing alike.

Then we can agree to disagree. I think they look similar, strikingly similar when hue shifted. Also I'm far from the first person to see this similarity and take issue with it. That and the fact this one was more used when I was on Reddit I felt this one was the best one for community branding. We can agree to disagree.
