The idea is to set some limits for users on the free plans, which would be lifted for users on the premium plans in exchange for an affordable membership.
This is a bad idea. Make a premium feature instead.

Honestly, these giant servers were a bad idea in the first place. Its a great idea to trim down the number of accounts significantly. We dont need single giant servers. Lemmy world is also antithetic to the fediverse but small by comparison afaik.
