Hello to all Experts and true users here.

I am new to the whole M-disc thing. I did some research, and the best I found is the Verbatim 43823(BD-R 25GB), made in Taiwan. I am familiar with the company and the need for Taiwan only thing, from my Xbox 360 days. But also saw a few places that say they are no longer what they were, and some even said they are not even M-disc anymore.

I need the durability, not the Size, so even a 700 MB disc, if it's better in survivability, would be ok for me. It's for Time capsule purposes, and not a decade or so, I want the 1,000 years range for it.

So, what is actually the best now in 2025? If I have to go looking for it (and not readily available on Amazon) it's ok. Quality is king, and I am not afraid of some legwork.
