This is good news. Boost was my favorite until I switched to infinity.
Contains ads? Data shared with third parties? Not feeling it.
The paid version doesn't have ads. But yes I switched to infinity because it was FOSS. I also liked the ux better.
Great news
I really like Lemmy so far even though it isn’t perfect yet. Adding a 3rd party app will make using this even easier.
I was so happy when I found this out. I hope Lemmy gets the support.
Thank you Ruben!
It seems like the future for Lemmy is pretty bright with all these amazing apps switching over.
It's a shame that Christian decided to not develop Apollo for Lemmy for the time being. I bet that would also convince a fair share of users to abandon ship.
Android users desperately need a better app for browsing Lemmy than Jerboa. Boost and Sync may just be that app.
Liftoff is the best one so far IMO.
Liftoff has been a bit slow for me today, but I imagine they're getting a massive amount of traffic that wasn't necessarily in the plans. Or maybe that's just Lemmy in general.
Yes! This is the proper response to Reddit's API changes.
we're up for a treat folks!!
I am really excited for this one . Always loved boost .
It‘ll be great to see that icon on my screen again! This is amazing!
I changed the liftoff icon to the boost icon just to get me through.
Haha I did the same. That muscle memory tapping that icon too hard to shift.
Nice
I'm a sync guy but this news has me so excited. I will try Boost for Lemmy when it comes out and likely support it anyways.
It looks amazing on the preview images.
Sync for Lemmy is also happening!
lol the downvoted post in one of the screenshots, the dev singled out @zac for absolutely no reason and I love it
Test
Boost and Sync were my top two over the years. Happy to see Boost is making this switch too!
I am super duper excited!
This is amazing! I can't wait for this to get released + Sync!
I saw that "subreddit" was changed to "communties" in the app recently so I was quite certain that a version for Lemmy is being at least experimented with.
I love how a day ago he said he wasn't going to make an app and then changed his mind that quick. So damn excited!
You beauty!
Great news! I loved boost for reddit.
I still can't believe spez did this. And continues to do this. What a prick
Wow.. I just uninstalled Boost after midnight. Looks like it will be back soon :)
