In short:

Some inland NSW communities have received their first winter snowfall for the year, with ski resorts in the Snowy Mountains also receiving an additional dusting.

Falls have been reported at Orange, southern NSW, parts of New England and in the Oberon and Bathurst districts.

What's next?

The weather bureau says there is a chance of more snow in coming days.
