Reminds me of a place near me that does crazy good poutine. Like, think stewed pork belly or loco moco style. Was a favorite until I moved a bit too far, I'd eat stroganoff fries every day if they had it, lol

Braised, I get. But stewed is unfamiliar. Google just thinks I meant braised.

I might be misremembering in regards to poutine; although my confusion might be from in-laws have a cultural Okinawan dish referred to as stewed(?). Might be a mistranslation but it's very slow cooked cube of pork belly.

And yes, it is melt in your mouth amazing.
