Round tail horned lizard? Or more commonly, Horny Toad.

The one Elton John pursues after bidding a peculiarly colored stone path farewell?

I have beheld your dragon. You may proceed with the extra abilities of the spell you're casting

("Behold" is a new magic the gathering mechanic for anyone rightfully confused by my comment https://draftsim.com/mtg-behold/)

🎶 Hey little fella, I know just what you're thinkin'!

Nobody gets you or sees what you could be!

But pluck up your courage and turn that frown up

Soon we will eat this entire town up

Then they'll believe in my dragon pal and me! 🎶

(Fun fact: Tad Cooper is actually a bearded dragon!)

Tad Cooper is a Dragon. Doesn’t matter if he’s got a beard or not.

Agreed! A dragon is a dragon!

Wow, they're such weirdos. I've been seeing the biggest ones I've ever seen this year. From yours, you can see how they're weirdly proportioned. They flatten out and can be very wide. They nuzzle their bellies into the sand and dirt and can become nearly impossible to see because of their camouflage. This one is a bit stumpy. I think he has dropped tail before.
