Transcript:

Patty approaches Charlie Brown sitting in the sandbox playing with his toys. She asks,"Have you met Schroeder yet, Charlie Brown?"

As he walks off behind her, Charlie Brown asks,"Schroeder?! Who's he?" She replies,"He lives next door....c'mon, I'll introduce you"

She points to a baby sitting on the floor and says,"Here he is! Say something to him" Charlie Brown replies,"I don't know what to say..."

As Schroeder smiles up at him, he turns to Patty and concludes,"I always feel so uncomfortable near children!"

Hahaha. I was the same way as a kid. (I still kind of am sometimes.) I usually got along better with adults. I was a weird kid.

Thank you for sharing all these comics you share! I've been loving them. I appreciate it! :)

Huh, is this the Schroeder? I never knew he started off so much younger than Charlie Brown.

Yep, this is the Schroeder. The ages are kind of wonky compared to the later comics. Charlie Brown is supposed to be about 4 here and slowly ages up to 8 by the end.
