It's in the feature list. Has not been a huge priority with the rush to get to production, but it is 100% on the list and we know it's important, so it's pretty far up the list.

I doubt the few guys working on Lemmy have time to add new features. Especially with another surge of users coming in hours.

But if you can find someone else who isn't occupied, you can find the source here. https://github.com/LemmyNet/lemmy

Just fork it and create a pull request explaining what you've done. (Or what you've gotten another developer to do.)

One could also open an Issue in GitHub. You can tag it as an enhancement or bug. There's quite a long backlog now but at least good ideas will be documented. Either the devs will eventually make their way to it or some developer will see it and implement it.
