Yeah, well, that's really, really sweet and would honestly rather have that occur or have a friend decide to cuddle with me than to get a bunch of dicks drawn on my face.

That's just having good people as friends.

My "friend" once slapped me so hard that I woke up and went outside to cry. His excuse? "I get a bit violent when I'm drunk" glad I cut contact with him and the rest of these assholes.

Alcohol doesn't make anyone violent or an asshole. It often brings people's true personalities out.

That's why I'm glad my friends are still fun people when drunk and a few of them start hugging people :)

Never fell asleep with rando around.
Was a strict rule I had because I had seen asshole classmates do the marker thing once and decided that would not happen to me.
Very few times I did let my guard down was with actual friends, and because it was decided I was gonna crash there. Otherwise I'd just power through the night.

Was great training for becoming a dad!

A good friend would come in to be the big spoon

[–] Actionschnils@feddit.org 2 points 2 months ago

Why not both?

Ran into my cousin and his friends at a festival 20 years ago. Came by their tent early morning and one dude was passed out outside so I covered him up with a blanket and tucked him in. Later on they were all thanking me profusely which I didn't get. Turned out the kid was a skin cancer survivor and that morning ended up being brutally sunny and hot.

Don’t threaten me with a good time!
