I'd like an old.reddit style layout - limited use of Javascript/CSS, full browser window width, lightweight for fast loading even on older hardware. Being able to toggle the sidebar is another feature I'd like to see, I have a Firefox extension that toggles it on old.reddit and it makes old.reddit look good on portrait mode on mobile.

not at the moment. there's an issue open for it, but it hasn't seen much activity. hopefully with third-party Reddit clients considering switching to Lemmy, we get a client with card view
Eew. Why would you want to do that?
I think the beauty of open source is that people can enjoy things differently. Personally I'd like to see a few different layouts that could be a profile setting we could choose.
