All things green, outdoors, and nature-y. Whether it's animals in their natural habitat, hiking trails and mountains, or planting a little garden for yourself (and everything in between), you can talk about it here.

See also our Environment community, which is focused on weather, climate, climate change, and stuff like that.

(It's not mandatory, but we also encourage providing a description of your image(s) for accessibility purposes! See here for a more detailed explanation and advice on how best to do this.)

Here’s what astica.ai said:

The image captures a beautiful moment in nature with a close-up of a bee delicately perched on a vivid purple flower. The flower is identified as a variety of thistle, possibly an artichoke thistle or a European marsh thistle, with its distinctive spear-like shape. The thistle stands out against a soft yellow background that adds a warm touch to the scene. The bee, a vital pollinator, is seen foraging on the flower, emphasizing the symbiotic relationship between flora and fauna. The overall image, set outdoors, offers a vibrant, colorful display of the natural world. It's a striking depiction of the intricacy and beauty of our ecosystem.

Same - never used it before, it was high up on my Google search and I was pleasantly surprised. Not sure how good it is but the photo looks like the thistles my SO likes in the garden
