After they laid off the senior people a couple years ago, AI’s terrible ideas are indistinguishable from the terrible ideas their ~~junior~~ senior PMs come up with. That, and MS is trying very, very hard to make AI a thing, because they totally missed mobile, invested insane amounts into OpenAI, and don’t have any other ideas.

The pathetic thing about this is that the only thing of material use that was made from all this wasted money and horrifying ecological devastation that will stand the test of time is a monument to how normalized radical anti-humanist beliefs were right before collapse.
