Pawoo is the official instance of pixiv. And since pixiv is huge among artists, pawoo is used by a lot of them (or used to be used), for better or worse... There are worse art instances. Ones I filter out from ever being linked to. (But yeah, the blocks are warranted)
But pawoo is where a lot of artists are at (/used to be), just because it's the one pixiv pushes them to use.
Here's hoping artists eventually find a good point of entry to the fediverse.
