Not related to the topic. But man, this website is so nice.. no "allow cookies" prompts, auto playing videos, requests to subscribe or pop up ads.

Just a well presented article in a clean format.

Yeah, the ABC is Australia's publicly-funded broadcaster, so they don't have ads, and no reason to track your entire life to on-sell the data. It's a nice change.

I always assumed it happened in relation to some sort of training accident, but apparently it was during an argument. What an awful case.
