As with all Cage's work, the movie may be fantastic, and may be crap, but he rarely disappoints. Unless you're not a Cage fan, in which case we agree to disagree. I have high hopes for this.

I'd be quite surprised if this turns out to be crap. It'll be fun at least

Thanks, Abed.

Sony live action marvel stuff makes me sad. Nicholas Cage gives me hope, though.

[–] Mister_Hangman@lemmy.world 21 points 2 months ago (2 children)

Wait… is this live action?!

[–] themeatbridge@lemmy.world 18 points 2 months ago

I know, I would have felt better if it was animated.

Maybe it'll at least be live action like Sin City is, where it's 90% CGI and basically animation.

I don’t hate it. Sin City had a great look. We need more hard noir.

Spider-Noir will be available in both black and white and color.

Bold, lots of work for photography and effects to make both look good.

All that, just to pander to people who are too weak for b/w.

I am hype for this. 100% unrestrained reckless hype.

I will buy tix to opening day and the day after.

I don’t care. Spider-man?! Nic cage?!

I’m in.

No, you won't. It's a TV series, streaming on MGM+.

[–] thefartographer@lemm.ee 15 points 2 months ago

I'm gonna sell myself tickets to watch it in my own living room!

[–] Gradually_Adjusting@lemmy.world 6 points 2 months ago

It'll be streaming from my NAS lmao
