Lol this is my system... I have 3 tiers: unimportant and completed task marked as read (or just ignored entirely), mid-level important things I'm currently ignoring marked as unread, and, actual important things I'm also currently ignoring marked as unread and pinned.
I tend to forget that I have replied, and then I either end up replying twice or look through my sent emails 6 times because I keep forgetting

Just last week I spent two days waiting on my friend who was supposed to bring me something back the same day. He didn't let me know anything because he felt bad he couldn't come.
I get like 20 emails every day from GitHub. 90% are completely useless but somewhere in there is a specific pull request that needs to meet a deadline and that needs a quick review and yet I will not notice it.
