Would you settle for "must be willing to be called Reggie"? That way you can skip the name requirement, and just make it clear that you're going to call them Reggie.

For the right price, I’ll be your Reggie.

“You give me a steady paycheck and you can call me anything you want.”

It's so much fun rewatching that movie and seeing that he was the only normal person on that show. Everyone, and I mean everyone, was weird as shit and he just wanted a job, no questions asked.

No kidding. Everyone at my job all has nicknames for each other anyway, I think there's one guy that gets called his actual name.

In the US Name is not a protected class, but I don’t know about Ontario/Canada.

Have you considered immigrating to the US?

I understand the timing’s not great right now, but how bad do you want Reggie?

Also, I don’t have any facts to back this up but I suspect there’ll be a larger pool of Reggie’s here too…it’s a bit of a numbers game…

Gender is, though. Thankfully Reggie is close enough to gender neutral that I think they're in the clear HR wise.

Could be short for... Regina.

If they pay me enough I'll move from the US to Canada and be their Reggie... Hell I'd call it a win win.

lol. is everyone preparing for if they get rich outside of daydreaming of mansions or such when buying a lottery ticket. I guess I do a bit. Am I the only one who buys a lottery ticket and then thinks. You know if I won it would be a lot of stressful work for awhile.

Nope, I do the same thing. It would be a lot of work to make all of the legal, financial, and social arrangements to divvy up the winnings amongst the people I care about. But given how long I've been dealing with my current problems, I think I'm ready for a change of pace.

oh yeah. I still buy them and would prefer to win them. Its just that it would likely be a year or two before you had everything settled in a turnkey type of way to really enjoy it.

Would it look good or bad to have 'Position: Reggie' on your resume?

[–] sxan@midwest.social 3 points 3 months ago

"I prefer 'Reginald'."
