I recently got a Dufferin cue too.
I did a search and found out that Duffering cues are now made in china by Chinese company for quite some time.
Do you know how can I identify if its Canadian made or Chinese one?

Thats a good question. Well if youre talking the easiest way to tell, Dufferin doesnt make shafts with the old signature joint anymore. So if yours has a pin in the shaft rather than the butt (like my post) it was certainly made in Canada in the 80s/90s most likely.
When I bought my replacement shaft, it came from FG Bradley in Canada, but could have certainly been made in China I suppose, even though it is the signature joint. They dont put the signature joint on new cues even if they still sell a replacement for the shaft. Theyve moved to pin in butt like everyone else for their models, since a while ago.
Im no Dufferin expert by any means, but if its a butterfly splice construction with a joint in the shaft then you can pretty much guarantee it was made in Canada. At least the butt for sure
It's similar to yours, and I just saw white letters on the bottom side "made in Canada". Thanks!!
Of course! I highly recommend that replacement shaft. Reasonable price and made my cue play like itβs brand new!
