I don’t see how any cop involved in a traffic stop that ends with the suspect dead from blunt force trauma to the head gets off Scott free. Not logically, anyway. Even if I am running guns and get pulled over, I am not supposed to wind up dead from blunt force trauma to the head. Who in the ever living fuck was on this jury?!

Yeah, the fact that the prosecution did the absolute bare minimum

Over about two-and-a-half days, prosecutors moved quickly, calling only five witnesses, including Mills, a medical examiner and Nichols' mother, RowVaughn Wells.

and the judge allowed in irrelevant evidence

For the first time, the defense introduced evidence of items that investigators found in Nichols' car

didn't make their jobs any easier, but yeah I don't know how any reasonable jury could've done what they did

What a failure for his family and loved ones. I remember watching the bodycams when they got released and they beat him savagely and then showed disregard for his well being when he slumped over by a car. This jury was made of fools.

Do you want riots? Because this is how you get riots.

Do you want vigilantes? Because verdicts like this is how you get vigilantes.

If you're black and have the means, leave the US. Probably should've done it in the 80s.

To white America the current white house administration and their ignoring of law is the direct result of your apathy towards the violation of black ppls civil rights. Solidarity with those treated unfairly would've stopped the spread of the right wing and facism

It's also a good idea if you're white.
