He actually seems pretty chill about the predicament he is currently in

panics and eats it’s own poop. To calm down it eats its own poop after eating it’s own poop. Then you took a breath and it Had To eat it’s own poop

Their spines are fragile, I don't think holding them like this is good and may be uncomfortable for the little pig.

It's true they can't be on their back, but this is ok.

This was a transitional moment as my wife was getting her into nail trimming position when I caught the look on her face and decided to take a picture.

I was making a joke in this case. Daisy is actually the easy one. She got her nails trimmed quick and easy after this picture was taken.

Rose is more trouble. She's very aggressive about defending her bodily autonomy. She fights and bites, and wiggles around. My wife tries to get one foot done on Rose every week.

Ah, sorry. It's been a while since I've had any little piggies (miss them a lot). You're right, they are fine like that. Thankfully both our girls (Thelma & Louise) weren't bad for nail trims as long as there was a few leaves of romaine infront of them.

Miss those little cuties.

Edit: that's Daisy in the pic? Regardless, she's so cute.

Yes, it's Daisy getting her nails trimmed.

Both are adorable.

Weird question: have you ever played xylophone music around them? My girls would chill and purr whenever they heard some chill xylophone parts in songs.

We have not.

They seem to enjoy classical music.

They don't like rock or jazz.

One year when I was setting up the tree for Christmas, I was playing Christmas music and they reacted like something was going to kill them.

My wife and I noticed that they hate every phone notification sound. They aren't afraid, but they'll make their angry sound whenever they hear it.

Likewise for the little sound the Roku makes every time you press a button on the remote. When I'm trying to pick a movie, it's like the guinea pig version of "quit it!" every time I move to the next part of the list.

Haha, it was always classical xylophone music. They quite liked Toccata.

Mine make a big deal about nail cutting as well. They'll try to jump away right when i clip a bit.

Yep.

I have an idea for a better type of pet nail clippers.

I need to work it out, patent it, and retire to a guinea pig shelter in the country.
