I used to work in oil and gas until recently. We had tons of work but supply was at an all time high. Trump declared an "energy emergency" at the worst time in history. It opened everything up, but demand doesn't magically increase. So now we have a ridiculous surplus of Oil & NG that will take a while to go through. Short term profits plummet and people are out of work until we have storage space for extracted hydrocarbons.
Just can't stop winning, eh?
