Shisui being Suirei's sister was unexpected! I had figured Shishui was somehow in cahoots though.

I wonder what they want with her. Could it be because Maomao seemed to actively be preventing induced miscarriages/forced abortions? That has been a pretty big theme so far... The envoy being here is suspicious too.

They had to remove Maomao from the rear palace, she knew too much. What I don’t get is whether they planned to leave the palace all along or Maomao forced their hand. (It was said in the episode they didn’t expect to return to the hidden village)
