One of my ex gfs ... long after we broke up... actually literally did compete in, and successfully completed a long distance, multi day/week long endurance ride across basically all of Mongolia.

Like... literal world class equestrian skills.

The competition did not also include archery, but this was unneccesary: she was sufficiently skilled at putting an arrow through my heart when she dumped me almost two decades ago now.

EDIT: Wow, I forgot, it actually gets more ironic:

While she did not practice archery with a compound bow...

She did actually practice Kyudo, traditional Japanese archery, at least back when we dated.

Basically a longbow, I don't think you could easily wield one, or do the... twist pull draw that easily while also at a cantor or gallup.

...

Combo (world class, apparently) horse girl and weaboo, was writing her own translated subtitles for Death Note at the time.

I guess I can take solace in saying this world class rider taught me how to ride a horse...
