It’s Monday and I’m in 5 solid hours of meetings from 11am to 4pm. My job could vaporize into nothing, me along with it, and nothing would change. I’m barely thinking 5 minutes ahead, let alone 5 years.

Oh mate that's sounds like hell good luck
Thanks! Gonna have to keep the coffee flowing.
There is a Friday in 5 years
What if they abolish weekdays?
There is also a Friday in 500 years; doesn't mean I am making it that far.
Don't give up hope
It's aiming up to be a doozy, at least for me.
Dryer started making a burning smell yesterday. Strong severe storms in the upper Midwest today. Half of my day sitting through legal shit Tuesday. A presentation to executives Wednesday. Rent due Thursday. And I can't even bother to look up what I have on Friday.
Then, sprinkle in parenting time, panic attacks after reading the news, chores, and everything ive forgotten about. On top of work, where I struggle to lead my offshore team (go figure, an introvert with verbal communication skills slightly more coherent than RFK Jr told to lead a team known for cowboy shit).
But I haven't turned to booze yet, so not all hope is lost.

Here, take this
I belive in you!
In the mirror I guess. Or maybe upside down in a spoon.
