I signed up for a proton account while connected to Mullvad's USA server. Proton then asked me to enter my phone number for verification, and it prompted me to enter an Argentina number, which is my real country of location. For a second I thought my VPN was off, but it was on.

I checked for browser leak, doesn't seem to be any. The time zone is US server's time zone. What could it be?
