she was brilliant in ds9 and then she literally made me yell at the screen in anger when she played grandma gallagher in shameless.
and then i watched big sky and she touched my heart as the all-seeing/all-caring small town school teacher; fletcher was incredible.

There's a simple reason why: Having gone no contact with my family and even moving abroad for being Lgbt, I've had my full real life share of condescending religious nutjobs for an entire lifetime. It was great to watch this despicable character during my first 2 DS9 binges, but I can't deal with it anymore... ^^
