It's cursed because you'd have to deal with familiar figures you know and love being awful people. The chuds/libs being leftists in this alternate universe would sound nice but it could also be a really weird thing to experience for some people. That's the cursed part.

I knew someone was going to bring up parasociality but come on that wasn't what I was going for here I just wanted to be all like "haha hey what if people you knowof were like the complete opposite doesn't that sound weird" aaaaaa
