Every day.
After years and years and years of masking..... I finally was fed up and stopped giving a shit.
I've found like a few of my family members actually like me more now because I don't politely hide my feelings anymore.
"Okay. This was fun. I'm heading out now. Bye!"
"You're leaving? Why?"
"Because I don't want to be here anymore. Okay bye!"
No more midwestern goodbyes ever .
I'm seen as "rude", at first, then many people slowly start to go "Boy, I wish I could do that.."
I'm still trying to find "me", though, sometimes.
Mood. I just roll w/ it. I suppose my mantra is "Fake it till you make it" because goddamn I've been faking it for decades.
