Been a while since I've watched WWE. Maybe AEW has me spoiled but the pace is much slower than I remembered

Use the spoiler function when you need to, it's there for a reason. Should your post involve a url to a spoiler (Twitter, YouTube video, etc) please mark the thread as NSFW as well so thumbnails are blurred or just link the content in the body of the post.
4. Vague/Editorialized Title.
Please keep the titles of any articles you post clear, understandable, and indicative of what the article states within. It's ok to alter the title if the original is clickbait and confusing, or contains a spoiler like a debut that just occurred that day, but do not add your own thoughts to it.
5. Sexualized Content/'Plot'.
Please do not post any pornographic, 'creep shot', or similar adult-related material to the community (regardless of connection to wrestling). Wrestling content that involves sexualized content (in storylines/matches/promos) is fine, as well as photo's wrestlers post to their own social medias. Butt-shots you take with your cell phone at a house show aren't.
6. Banned Source(s)/Websites.

MODERATORS
WWE definitely uses a slower style, it's part of the reason they try and send even bigger names to NXT. I read once that it's to prevent injuries but it's the Internet and could be bullshit.
I could see it. AEW matches feel more like fights/nonstop action. WWE matches feel a bit more like movie scenes with pauses for reaction
I donβt normally watch the Fed, but I have been invited to someoneβs house for night 1.
That said, hearing about the Vince love going around and the possibility of seeing the crowd cheer for Fascism isβ¦. not exactly making me interested.
Pretty sure Pat McAfee implied on his show that Trump may make an appearance.
It's McAfee so it's likely 1000% a lie, but I could see it after this week.
As a political junky (these days doom scroller) he almost can't go for Night 1 because tomorrow morning they are going to destroy 30k eggs for a photo-op at the Easter Egg Roll with a bunch of children, sponsored by Amazon, Meta, and YouTube. Now tomorrow night, I can see that, he wouldn't need to be available Monday for photo-ops but he's him...
It would explain why HHH and Roman Reigns were kissing his orange ass earlier this week.
Heymans actions were justified, he wanted to be a good friend, he wanted to be a good follower, and neither would let him be, so he did what a walrus has to do, he made the right choice.

Jey's spear is weak looking but that was a good opener... Although I wasn't a huge fan of the tapout ending.
Ehh I like Jey not a fan of the finish though. Maybe I'm finally old because he's cool but I don't feel like he should be World Champion
Based on so many titles changing hands earlier in the show, I don't see this one or the WWE title moving. But I could be wrong, Charlotte's Mania record is better than most.

At the current rate, I wouldn't be surprised if it's next WrestleMania. He's the most entertaining member of the Bloodline since Solo.
New Day and War Raiders I missed.
Naomi and Jade was ok, Jade has a hell of a look but the match itself was just ok. Naomi left and proved she's frickin great and somehow I think WWE just doesn't see it, if she hadn't gone to TNA I might never have known her greatness and that makes me kind of sad.
If you had told me a year ago Solo would be the odd man out of the Bloodline gang I wouldn't have believed it, Jacob just came in like a wrecking ball and surpassed him, imo.
Caught the tail end of the tag match. Didn't seem like anything groundbreaking and I guess you could say The New Day stole it so that was fun.
Jade is still relatively pretty green so good match for her. Naomi was good in TNA but I feel like the WWE style hamstrings alot of talent.
I agree, the WWE style hid how good she was, at least to me, during her first run. Her TNA run was a night and day difference in perceived ability for me, and I'm sad WWE doesn't let her do more.
if she hadnβt gone to TNA I might never have known her greatness and that makes me kind of sad.
At least you got to! Better in WWE now, money-wise, than TNA now, everything-wise, but I do miss her being the champ.
