Hitler’s policies also featured eugenics, a term first proposed by Francis Galton, a cousin of Charles Darwin (Cuerda et al., 2011). Eugenics was first implemented in the United States in the early 1900s, and is reportedly still occurring there via the sterilization of female prisoners (Johnson, 2014).
