We should bring back referring to space as the Aether, since it can be bent, stretched, compressed, isn't empty and is a rippling sea of time-space. The word "space" fails to convey the complexity like the word aether, imo.

Space is so cool! So if I'm understanding correctly, there's dead stars spinning around and shooting radio waves on an incredibly predicable basis, allowing scientists to record the effects gravity waves and how they're messing with the timing of those waves because all of space is being pulled around?

I literally learned about gravitational waves yesterday (from something completely unrelated) and now this gets revealed today? Crazy
