Thats a great point, even the diet doctor recipe search doesn't have that.

uhhh, from what i can tell it's not really recommended for diabetics to go on a keto diet, especially not if you're on insulin..

This is the perfect community to discuss that. What have you heard the problems are?

The most important thing when starting a ketogenic health plan is to map out medications and if any could be impacted by the new metabolism and work with a doctor to observe and titrate them down as necessary. I.E. People on insulin will have to aggressively monitor their blood glucose levels and modify their dosing, with the help of a medical provider. This only demonstrates how effective a low carbohydrate is for treating diabetes.
