It seems me and my kid will bacame new players soon. I'd appreciate learning from your experience. What are things that you discovered hard way, so we don't have to? :)

How far in are you? Did you start with the Battle Academy or some of the league decks?

We started with battle academy. Which was a good learnig expirience, but the cards in that are realy week. I don't see those decks competing with any deck that you can buy of the shelf, so the momement one fammilly member choose to increase their collection, they will dominate the home games. I wouldn't probabbly buy it in a retrospect.

Yeah, the Battle Academy is definitely for learning, not competing. But the price per card is low, and as you said, it's a good learning experience. And when you eventually upgrade to stronger decks, the board itself can still be useful. Have fun 😊

I am. I also have good first expiriences with Pokemon Live. Looking forward to new card realeses later that month. To soon to twll if the rest of the familly will be hooked, but it seems like a fun hobby to have.
