[–] Akuji@leminal.space 17 points 3 months ago

Cute and equipped to boldly wreck your bum even though you're thrice their size. Yeah, that's a mustelidae 😅

Creature: is like 50-75% yellow.

Scientists: its defining feature is its yellow throat.

[–] LovableSidekick@lemmy.world 11 points 3 months ago* (last edited 3 months ago)

That throat has serious scope-creep.

Now we know its weak spot!

When they said “Land of the Leopard” I had to check what they meant. I mean, faces are getting eaten here in the States and I had never heard of this thing before!

I need someone to make me a sphere shaped capturing tool of sorts. Color theme doesn't matter. All that matters is that after capture, I can just toss said tool with said animal still inside, in a box and never interact with it again.

Looks like it just got done with a marathon session going down on Big Bird.

[–] vaultdweller013@sh.itjust.works 3 points 3 months ago (1 children)

This looks like something that got chucked through a time portal from the Permian period. My lizard brain says run but ape brain says pet

[–] GoodLuckToFriends@lemmy.today 4 points 3 months ago

Lol, and here I thought it looked like something that got chucked into a field of freshly bloomed flowers. Just cover thyself in pollen, mammal, and return to my embrace.

Was there ever any marten mentioned besides the pine marten with the red cloak in the martin the warrior book? I think there was one in the pearls of lutra, on the island kingdom?

Shoot, it's been so long I can't remember.
