A tall man is laying face-down in the middle of a desert. He is dead. Laying in front of him is a rock, a buzzard, and a cactus. The man has no cuts, bruises, or any type of bodily damage whatsoever. He did not die of dehydration, nor has he had a stroke, heart attack, etc. Who is this man, and how did he perish?

Answer

The dead person was Superman, and the rock, Kryptonite, killed him.

This doesn't make sense as Kryptonite in and of itself can't kill Superman. It only weakens him so that those without powers can harm him.
