As an antheist it makes me sad to see folks downvoting literally any mention of religion, including ones focused on compassion and social progress

And it's sadder still I expect people will downvote me for being sad that we're still judging demographics for what associate with them, and not the behaviours or social impact we have an issue with itself

I simply don't think people with delusions severe enough to think that some all powerful being created the universe and that we were subsequently cast out of paradise because a talking snake convinced a woman made out of a rib to eat an apple should be encouraged.

Or, to keep it centered on Jesus as the OP said, that there was a magical man who could heal and revive the dead, who was his own father and at the same time was afraid of what his father (him) has laid out for him.
