It took me a couple of battles to notice it, but yeah, they people with basic names, make their plays instantly, and have rubbish decks are just bots. I sent a friend request to one, but it never replied. When you're still in the beginner rank, it seems to match you with a bot again if you lose against a real person.
Mine was Robert, Rob, Robert again, and some other name for the 4th battle. Match #5 is the first real one I think.
I thought I would pass this after doing the three AI battles to get the small reward ... But there's hourglass rewards depending on which rank you finish in, up to 100 max. I won't aim for 100, but I'll see how far I get before I get frustrated.
Oh that's good to know. I haven't even started it yet, I'm still finishing up some of the PVE challenges.
