This Lenin looking dude stalking the crowd during the Junon Harbour parade for the new Shinra president has got to be something to do with Avalanche being expanded compared to the original games. Some revolutionary leader?

How is the remake? I've seen how it changes the plot and I mean that's cool but I really don't want any alteration to the game's original story since I love it as is.
It's a """remake""" in the sense that it is but it's also not actually. It follows the original main story beats but there are forces that are attempting to change fate.
It's good. Play it. It doesn't just take the politics of the original and fuck it up, Avalanche are expanded into what seems to be a massive proper revolutionary power and they do not shy away from explicitly calling Shinra fascists.
The only criticism I have is that sometimes it feels like they expanded the game too much, adding too many things to do between plot points actually feels like it slows down the pacing of the original plot a bit too much in some areas. This is a weird criticism that only people that played the original first time around will understand though really.
